Continuation of Educational Activities in the Field of Cultural Heritage
Collaboration with schools and institutes to begin regular educational workshops for school children, university students and relevant specialists in the field of awareness and identification of cultural heritage in the country.
Supporting and Conducting Specific Training Activities in Educational Institutions
Collaboration with internal training and educational institutions in the field of special educational programs for teachers and their students (especially female).
Exhibition Establishment
Improving the national and regional museum sector and establishing exhibitions.
Supporting the Preservation of Cultural Heritage
Attempt to eliminate illegal trade of antiquities, plundering of ancient archaeological sites and, most importantly, preventing the destruction of historical buildings through various programs (held by NGO).
Collaborating on Management of Cultural Heritage with the Government
Organizing expert meetings for Afghan professionals to discuss and proposing of future projects, identify best practices and provide analysis on the experiences from previous activities.
Cooperating with the Government on the Design of Preservation of Cultural and Natural Heritage Policies
Cooperating with the Ministry of Information and Culture and other ministries on the design and effectiveness of national and regional policymaking on the management of cultural and natural heritages.
Collaborating and Public Awareness about Natural Heritage to Different Groups of Society
Collaboration with the responsible authorities for raising awareness about the existence, preservation and maintenance of the cultural and natural heritage sectors of society in coordination with those authorities.
The ECSO's Work Plan is Summarized in Three main Parts
The staff, the initial team and the key members for the management of the organization whose responsibilities will be divided as following: o Providing public relations and fundraising (Officer responsible for relations and fundraising). o Collaborations on the management of cultural heritage with the government and project coordinator (Officer responsible for drafting proposals and organizing educational activities). o Managing of financial and administrative affairs of the organization (Officer responsible for financial and administrative affairs).
Train These Three Groups of Staff
Workshop and training programs will be put in place, helping them to acquire the necessary skills to implement the activities of a nonprofit organization. The necessary skills will include the ability to communicate in English, the ability of communication and fundraising, as well as research and information technology competence.
